The germans have also been invited on their forum. Since its not too far from the German border I expect their will be a fair share of GRA ants as well.
Best regards,

Do you have any videos of the german ants ? and do they conform to UK ant rules or US 'Ant' rules ?

Let's just say, if you can survive for more than 1 sec against DBA/Katjuscha, you'll be fine against the Germans.

Sounds like fun, I'm really looking forward to some international competition at an AWS (even if the UK robots lose horribly).

GRA (Germany) and DRG (Netherlands) both use the UK rules for ants.

One robot in particular I fight quite often, because its virtually indestructable and only cost 12 euro (=8,50 GBP) to build, called Zwolf.

Zwolf means 12 in German. It was to prove that even a cheap robot is able to withstand the worst spinners in the field. And it does a good job of that.

This is an ant called Emma

And Colossus.

And Go.

Loving that! Cheers Leo. Would be great to get some german robots over. Zwolf looks like its just made from one sheet of metal though, thats against our rules. Or is it not? It's hard to tell on the picture. They all look like good bots though, be great to get some "new" teams in.

Just FYI 2.k)
Armour consisting of one continuous metal plate must not protect more than one third of the robots perimeter (welded plates will be considered as a continuous metal plate).

These rules will be in place for the AWS25, I will make sure that this is also known with the germans and the dutch.

Zwolf was never intended as a serious competition ant, but just to survive robots like mine.
