I'm up for it. How are UK people going to travel, As I see it it's either plane from Stanstead to Eindhoven, plane leaves at 9:25 and gets there 9:30 (time difference I assume): price ?100 or Ferry, leaves 23:30 arrives 07:30 price ?129. A no-brainer there.

Thats weird. If its 9:25 GMT its 10:25 CET. so unless you have planes that go back in time or fly around the world in the other direction that time schedule must be wrong.

Aside from the obvious Ryan Air and KLM I must set my wife looking for the alternatives, it's just a bit too soon to book the flights. Once the cheap end of Ryan Air has gone KLM can still be available cheaper.
Anyhow, she's the travel agent not me... I'll let you know what she turns up in options.
If you're running minisumo it might be worth dropping these chaps a line...

I'm in of course, providing I can get a travel buddy or three. Might get my mates to come, use it as a holiday excuse.

For us, it's only about 35 miles further than Hull
(315 miles)
Will probably drive via the tunnel and make holiday of it. First time driving on the "wrong" side of the road

I didn't find it too bad last time I was over there.... except for the T-Junctions where the tendancy was to
almost turn to the usual side
