Great event as always Simon, and gratz to Andrew :)

Batteries have ran out on my camera while transferring photos, so I won't be able to put them up till I find my charger!

I have to say that Void and Randar where great as well as Pete armarda (thinking about it although you have an ants nest, there must be a collective term for ants. Wonder what it is? Although these are robotic ants so any ideas what we could use). TNT and Merge show a new level of lowness. Kwijebo out preformed itself today, will go back into its cage once more, fed 1g of polycarb a week.

Thanks everyone for coming.

I need to rethink the competition format to get football back in.

I'll be posting out the DVDs on Monday.

Especial thanks go to Josh's mum, Debbie, and Marco's girlfriend for their hours of work. Please pass them on guys.

Simon

P.S. Anyone fancy 24th September 2006 for RRC10?

Yep have to say thanks for a great come back event.

Thanks to every one who still makes me feel welcome.
Great to see some new faces and also off course some old ones.

Liz says no problem for helping out, she really enjoyed it because she was worried she would be very bored.

Thanks simon for the great event. Dave for driving my impossible to drive ant when i needed it. Josh for being a good team mate during the super ant combat. And gratz to andrew for demonstranting a rather scary walker.

Im really happy how I did, driving and the ants wernt perfect but heck I know some aspects that can be improved and off course the standard of ants has improved since iv been gone.

Hope to see a few of u guys at the next event.

Can I get a DVD Si? That must have happened after we rushed off...

Good event, some superb battles! Unfortunately, the ones that created them battles seem to be the ones who can't make AWS20 :(.

Ah well, was worth the nightmare travel scenario.

Thanks to Rhys for travel-buddy, Simon for putting it on and Scott for keeping me nicely insulted throughout the day

Congrats to Marco (great comeback, great bots), Hib (Yey! Kwijebo!), Rhys (ow!) and Josh for improving Merge again beyond no age.

I was thinking, instead of antweight of the month, we could do antweight of the event. So many to choose from, but I think I'd pick...The Nightmare Of Milky Joe.

Yes great event again Simon looks like the younger generation are starting to take control so I need to start improving my designs and driving.
Nice to see Marco and Liz again.
I am not sure the collective term for ants maybe a swarm like Bees I seem to remember the collective term for bankers is a wunch but thats another story.

I liked Kwijebo, it seemed to come right at this event.

I've changed provisional dates for RRC 10, because the last was a Sunday. How about Sat 30th September?

That's a great idea Oliver, but I've already made the DVDs.

Oh well.
