Wicksteed Theme Park 10/11 September 2005

Roaming Robots are running a two day event at Wicksteed Theme Park and according to their web site this is again open to all weight classes.

How about having a strong Antweight presence this year?
Is there interest from any other Antweight roboteers to participate in the event at Wicksteed?

Although we couldn't make it to the RR event at Aylesbury in May from the comments on this site is sounds like this went well - was the way this was run a model for Wicksteed and/or are there any lessons learnt from this?

Last year we went to the Wicksteed event - which was great fun, including camping, but as there were no other Antweight robots to fight we could only enjoy spectating the Feather and Heavy battles.

Can someone tell me where Wicksteed is - I've never been able to find out..

Wicksteed Park is at Kettering in Northamptonshire - just off the A14.
