I've got loads of free space if you wouldn't mind uploading them.

I'll put my pics up shortly - and Oliver can have a copy for .co.uk if he wants it. If anyone else needs hosting, there is enough space on the RW101 servers to host a several tens of thousands of images. Just let me know.

Flippt, I will be adding the DVD to the store asap but meantime either paypal me at pete.c(a)lineone.net or send me ?3 through the post. Private Mail me if you want to discuss.

No need to ask me, if you want any of the photos just take them :) Lessons learnt for next time:

Pictures look better when taken from a lower angle
Turn the flash off when taking pictures of battles :P

Just a couple of quick questions:

1) Pete, have you got all the info you need for the DVD? I know a few of my bots names caused problems...

2) Is someone writing an updated version of the rules?

Thanks.

The rules are being drafted and kicked around the committee. It's the best way of writing the rules, as everyone reads them slightly differently so it is very difficult for one person to write them "right first time".

This is only the drafting stage.

When the committe agree they've done the best they can, it's up to the community as a whole to ratify the rules. They are not "handed down from on high".

BTW, don't expect any earth-shattering changes!

Any idea if they'll be ready and enforced for AWS19? Not that i expect to be breaching any of them, but its always nice to know.

It would be nice to have the new rules in place by the New Year and use them at AWS19. However, that doesn't really give us long if everyone else is as busy as I am in the run-up to Christmas!

Committee members: Can we kick the rules around with a bit of urgency to get something published ASAP?

AWS19 will have a fair check-in, much like at Pete's last event, as I think it's an essential part of a fair competition. Natch, any new rule changes would be nice to have before then
