Hey Charlie, you need to be logged in and have your bots added to your profile. then go to the event http://antlog.garya.org.uk/event/11 and click 'Entrants' then click 'Sign Up' and then you should see a drop down of your robots and a create button to add them
Re: AWS56 - 13th October, Bristol
Info for AWS56, this Saturday, 13th October in Bristol!
If you haven't yet, please sign up your robots asap at http://antlog.garya.org.uk/event/11
Timetable:
08:00 Venue opens, Set Up
09:00 Event Starts, tech check begins
10:30 Fights Start
13:00 Lunch Break
13:30 Fights Resume
by 17:00 hopefully.. competition finished
Venue: 58th Bristol Scout Group, Scout Resource Centre, Gadshill Road, Eastville, Bristol, BS5 6LJ.
Google Maps link: https://goo.gl/maps/CSJiHvcP7iy
Parking: Venue has a car park and there's street parking if car park full.
If you park on the street, be sure not to block the cars at the end of the street as it's a dead end road.
Arena: Unfortunately Peter Waller's arena is unavailable, so we'll be using the Bristol Bot Builders arena which is a little smaller than typical AWS arenas (it's 1m x 0.8m) just so you know.
Donations: We're running this event out of our own pockets, so we'd really appreciate donations from competitors to help cover costs. Suggested donation is £5 per team to either our paypal: http://bbb.gd/donate or cash on the day.
Thanks all! Any questions hit us up, and we'll see you all Saturday

Re: AWS56 - 13th October, Bristol
Sorry for the Newbie questions .....
Travelling down from Scotland and staying overnight with friends on the way, do we need to be there for 9am sharp or is there a bit flex?
What (other than the obvious robots, controller, battery charger, us) do we need to bring?
Any other tips for a new family team with 8 year old appreciated!
Thanks
Jeff.

Hey Jeff,
Wow from Scotland! Impressive!!
The closer to 9am the better as we have to get through a lot of bot tech checks before we can start the fights.
I'd say bring an extension lead / 4 way plug, apart from that you seem good to go!
Joe

Not going to make it to this one. I was really hoping to, but life gets in the way etc... Hope to battle with y'all another time!

Re: AWS56 - 13th October, Bristol
Best of luck to everyone going to this tomorrow! Sadly I got too much on this month for travelling that far this time. And my best bot is still not rebuilt from the last AWS haha.
Hope you all have a great day though and I'll hopefully see some of you at Ant Freeze 6.
Is someone filming at this?

Cheers guys. Had a great day out. Think I had a 6 in a row winning streak best run of luck so far. Feeling very satisfied as for a little while my robots ran to their potential.
A well run event that finished impressively early. Thanks to Joe and Dave. You ran it with charm and professionalism. And thanks to all the other Bristol bot builders who assisted with the event.
Congratulations team oink 1st and 2nd is a staggering result.

Thanks to everyone involved in putting this on, Craig (Firestarter) had a ball despite catching his finger.
Special thanks to Shakey for answer all our questions, Pete fit the acetate strip and all the other we talked to
We’ll definitely be back, hopefully with more robots and possibly some that are competitive
Just the 450 mile drive back home tomorrow now
Cheers
Jeff
