Yup it was good, although the format is a bit meh and the sound levels were not right . Still enjoyable

SUSPENDED! - I dont have the time/money to fully commit and I may have killed a motor and my NanoTwo !
I may give this another go at some point, but for now its over.

Just watched, was so excited, excellent show and congrats to everyone on the Nuts team, so likeable and great fun. It was unfortunate Terrorhurtz went out but great job getting Nuts back together, and Carbide were very good. Behemoth also did very well, better than it ever seemed to do in the original run of robot wars haha.

One of the cameras had a weird frame rate, which kept bugging me, but otherwise was great.

Loved it!
Noel Sharkey summed it up:
I imagine Antweights may have a bit of a revival when people search the net following the new series. We may see more people sign up to the forum in the next few weeks!
Noel Sharkey summed it up:
Terrorhurtz clearly won on damage and aggression, but for me the real star of the show was Nuts, because its control was beautiful, I mean it managed to last there for 3 minutes with a broken robot. That was astonishing.

Re: Robot Wars TV Series 2016 BBC 2
I was lucky enough to be at the filming and see Nuts and of course all the other bots in action! As a kid I always wanted to watch robot wars so it was a dream come true! seeing the filming reminded me of my passion for robots and after talking to a few people here I learned about antweights and hence joined the forum. So can confirm the influence on the member count here After reading many posts on here and watching some AWS I decided to use my summer to build an antweight or two. The first one should be done within a week or so, just need to get some 3D printing done and that's about it. Just waiting to hear from Alex 'Shakey' on that one. Thanks to everyone for providing both entertainment and support with all your robots and knowledge

I sent an email! I'm sure it was to the right place. Just a couple of questions about the service you offer as I should be done in a few days. If you didn't receive it then I can send you a message through here!

I think Mentorn are going through a big learning curve on putting this together but did a great job considering the timescales
