Sorry everyone but we most likely won't be able to make it to this one; it's a bit too far for us to travel and we really can't afford to stay in a hotel either. Oh well, we wish you all good luck anyway! :-)

Right, got a venue booked (address on first post). It's not the one I had planned originally (that one had already been booked by someone else), but it's only about a mile further away and is otherwise pretty much the same. It is a fair bit more expensive though, so I may have to ask for a voluntary donation of £1 a robot up to a maximum of £5 a team to help cover some of the cost.

5 pounds a team sounds reasonable to me. would you like me to bring any nano arenas to this event? i have two full combat arenas: one big one small, a raceway arena and a football arena.
