Thanks everyone for a great event! Especially to the Dennys for hosting, to Pete for giving me lifts and giving me a spare battery for Void, and to Alex for letting me use his drill & bits.

Also thanks to Rory for splitting Void in two to force me to stop being lazy and design the new one. I think it was apparent that it was definitely showing it's age! Entropy was fairly naff, but I expected that; it was mostly just for me to get used to what I could do with my printer, as well as being a test bed for having articulated track "pods", and they seemed to work really well...when they weren't in the path of the disk.

See you all next time!

It was Bad Idea who also gutted Entropy at the Wales event last year I believe... It's slowly working it's way through your team Scott :L

This is why i entered Jaguar into the annihilator and gladiator, and it may have done the trick :D
(though i am still tempted to be lazy and put the parts back into the tin as nothing was damaged beyond repair except the power switch)

Huge thanks to the dennys for hosting the event. It was a really fun event and I loved the time we had for all the side events. There was some great fights and I even managed to lose to my own robot! :D

Hopefully all the spinner damage wasn't a costly repair despite the amount of damage dished out, notably bad ideas performance. Test Robot Please Ignore somehow didn't explode itself... This is a shocking developement and I've already half sawed through the mounts to prepare it for the next event, entropy did do some nice weight saving at the back of the robot though. :D

The highlight for me was definitely Rorys face at the end of the Nuts final...

Thanks for a great event! :D

Awesome to see everyone again. It was great to finally get a bit further with one of my robots (still can't believe I came 3rd with Doktor Power!) but unfortunately the other 3 didn't win a single fight! So irritated with those so I think AntWithTopHat needs some improving in terms on drivability but I think the 4 bar lifter is an OK concept, GiANT is now a bit more destroyed than before and just as ineffective so a definite rethink there and Sir Stampfoot was so ridiculous I think he'll have to remain on the team for the comic value, hopefully joined again by a slightly improved Li'l Yoink. Doktor Power is being rebuilt as it has serious reliability issues which cropped up before and after every single fight such as a motor losing power, the whole thing not responding at all or just complete loss of power inside altogether. I think some nice new solder joints and it should be better than ever; I was only running on 3 wheel drive during the nuts and football!

Loved the annihilator and gladiators as well as the nuts competition. Overall, fantastic event like usual and can't wait for the next one!

Thanks for all the compliments, it was great to be able to run it.
I think the football rules worked very well and also the new nuts instead of marbles was much better, I have found a few blue ones out now so they have been thrown in for next time. I think they might be worth more points :)
Havn`t had time to sort any of the video or results yet but I will hopefully get them done this week, the slo-mo videos at the end look very good.
I`ve got most of the Ant tournament fights and a lot of the games.
Ant Freeze 4 will be confirmed later in the year.
