Hi! First time poster here. I first saw the AntWeights last year at BMW, and then found this forum. I have been gathering components to make a bot (with hopes to enter AWS 46), but am lacking in some gearmotors like these:

Would anyone be bringing some spare/used gearmotors to BMW for me to purchase? I don't really want to use servos for driving. I do have motors, but sourcing gearboxes for them is probably harder than getting a gearmotor ready made. I have nearly everything else, electronics etc.
We are coming Friday (tommorrow), and may bring my current components.

Trying not to take Antweights too seriously. I think I'm failing.
First AWS was 46.

I sell motors as can be seen in this thread: http://robotwars101.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2246
They are pretty standard and I recommend the 50:1's if you're new. They are the ones people source in bulk from china but it might be a bit late to order from china for AWS 46 right now. I'm not going to BMW though.

@Dave, a bit too much of a trek from the north really plus time, money and robots are running a little low atm.

Hey, UserFriendly make yourself known to us tomorrow and we'll point you in the right direction. Should be perfectly feasible to get some motors in time for AWS46
