Thanks to everyone for another top day. Thanks to Scott and Andy for arranging and to everyone who made Ross and Findlay so welcome, and to everyone who whished us a happy anniversary. We are all a pretty good group of people all in all.
See you all in Reading next year.

Massive event, well run thanks to Scott, Dave etc. Nice to see some new faces and also some older ones.
RONNY and Make-A-Bot did quite well, my driving must be improving at last!
Shadow, despite winning most destroyed was back in good shape within 5 minutes, possibly the quickest resurrection ever :)

Looking forward to doing it all again at the Open

Haz: Alex retained the title, Dan (Hogi) 2nd and Andy H 3rd

As per text from Dave Weston while I was stuck in Preston:

1st: Stanley (again - congrats!)
2nd: Hogi
3rd: A Little Bit O' Less Fail

Well done to everyone who won, apologies that I had to run off before the end!

S. D. F. GTI was, I think, the slowest robot to ever take a fight to a judges' decision, so I'll take that :) and Head Over Heels performed respectably enough, and I enjoyed myself, so I'll call that a success. It was a great event despite the slight time crunch - I suspect the debate over that will carry on a bit elsewhere but I don't think it took away from the organisation at all. Thanks so much to Scott, Andy H, and Dave L for organising it, Dave W and Ceri for putting up with me over the weekend, Andy W for the tape, and Rory for the motors *goes to look up nanoweights*

Commentating was fun too, for my first time doing it, and I apologise to all those whose ears were offended by my voice and random facts :)

Just watched some of the footage. Saw the finals and thing. Very good driving from Dan with Hogi. Great win for Stanley though, that robot is impressive.

... On a less depressing note; today was the most fun I've ever had a robot event :) That was partly down to the fact I came 4th and 5th/ joint 4th/ whatever it was, but so many comical fights with the Lemmings, MiniTinny and FlailWhale. Definately looking forward to Basingstoke now :)

I had a great event today!

Managed to retain the title but the best part by far was that there were so many great fights along the way! Between Minidozer and a full ant, to any lemmings fight there were just too many great moments. Can't wait for the live stream to be uploaded. Congratulations to Will for Winning the Nanoweights contest and to Hogi for winning the fleas (Always a well driven opponent to fight :) ).

HSOD did far better than I thought and left a few robots a lot worse off than at the start of the match (Sorry Salt and Pepper). Carbon was disappointing in the main competition but redeemed itself in the annihilator, just need to tweak it a tad. Sharkbait also suprised me, hopefully I'll ge another nano to go with it built. And Stanley Stanley'd.

Thanks for everyone who helped organise the event and to the rest of you guys for some seriously good fights and tough competition.

Yes another great event thanks to Scott and everyone else who helped especially the large numer who stayed behind to help clear up.
Congratulations to all the winners there were some great fight and I can't beleive how well the nano's in the lemming cluster servived at least two major spinners.
I will type up the result charts as soon as I can the only problem seems to be that there is no chart for group B in the ants maybe Dave still has it.
