As this is a different venue to previous AWS's we have run, we won't be able to do the legendary team beligerant sausage sandwiches. :( but we might manage to bring some cakes :)
It's probably best to bring your own food, but there is a newsagents/ small shop across the road which sells food if needed.

The hall will open at 10:00, and the event should finish about 16:00.

This post will be updated with more info nearer the event...

original post:
AWS 38 is going to be in Brighton in July, the date will be confirmed when we've found out when the hall is available.

more details on the way...

Note that "across the road" does *not* mean "walk one mile in the wrong direction down the road" XD

Looking forward to this already, hopefully I'll have a full complement of robots :)

An AWS can be run by any experienced roboteer, Joey has run one, but for this next AWS The Aylwards volunteered, We've travelled to Hull and Pontefract in recent times and will do so again if an experienced roboteer wants to run it...

Feel free to run your own non-AWS event, it's recommended that you do that if you want to run an AWS in the future, something along the lines of Reading Robot Club, Richmond Fighting Robot Club, Southern Antweight Challenge or the Sly Practice in the North West.

As for Saturdays, public transport is much better on Saturdays than Sundays.

Also, more people can make the Saturday. It makes it easier for everyone not to have to rush home to get back to work on Monday morning.
