No worries jack, hopefully we'll see you at the AWS??

I'm planning on videoing as much as possible so that I can update the modelworld DVD and will try and get the photos/video online ASAP after the event but it may be a few days before I get round to it :)

See everyone that's coming tommorow

just got back from a day of robot-fighting fun, there were just over 40 robots and it wasn't even an AWS :o

Good to see several new people/robots including a few people we saw at modelworld :)

Results

Full combat
1st Place Raoul (Jim)
2nd Place Cheese It & catatonia (Jim & Joey)
3rd Place NOM NOM NOM (Andy H)

Non-spinner
1st Place antimatter (Jordan)
2nd Place Flippant 2 (Peter W)
3rd Place anti depressant (Jonathan)

Gauntlet/assault course
1st Antimatter (Jordan)
2nd Propellant (Oliver N)
3rd Stewie (Dave W)

full results/pictures/videos once i've sorted them out/uploaded them.
Think I managed to video almost every fight in the non spinner and full combat and also some of the gauntlet. There's 133 clips of video on my camera and so it may take a while for me to upload them all...

well done Jim for winning, a big thank you to Garry and co for organising, and indeed everyone who helped run things,
it was a brilliant day, wetted my apetite for destruction again. even with my frankly shockingly aweful robots.

Whew! Just got back. Thanks to Gary, James and co. for a great event, and of course excellent cake. It was great catching up with everyone as well as meeting the new faces that have appeared since I last attended an event. I'm quite happy with how I performed considering it took me a while to remember how to drive, and Zenith fared far better than I'd expected.

Thanks again to the organisers and congratulations to all the winners :).
