Southern Antweight Challenge 2012 - Brighton, 21 April 2012

Post by BeligerAnt »

Once again we will be running SAC at Brighton University, thanks to Ian Watts and STEM Sussex.
All the usual fun and mayhem :)
More details when we've figured out exactly what we will be doing...

Directions here:
http://www.brighton.ac.uk/maps/moulsecoomb/
(postcode BN2 4GJ)

Sign up here:

and a list of who's coming here:
http://robotwars101.org/ants/antweightw ... php?id=213

Edit: The event will take place in the Cockroft Hall (in the Cockroft building), there will be signs at the main entrance. The hall is on the ground floor and dead easy to find :)
The event will run from about 10am to 4pm, although if you arive at 10 on the dot you may find yourself helping to set up!

An unashamed thread bump for the Southern Antweight Challenge, now that the AWS is out of the way!

Please sign up if you're coming.

There will be a full double-elimination non-spinner competition, plus full combat and "something else" (surprise!).
We should also have a spare arena available for testing, grudge matches, whatever you want.
There should also be the chance to have a chat with other roboteers - not always that easy at the AWS these days :)

Turn up around 10:00 - 10:30, should be finished around 4:00.

Hope to see you there!

This is always a good event where you get a bit more time to checkout the other robots in a more relaxed atmosphere but still have full competition battles.

Before you criticize another person, first walk a mile in their shoes. Then, when you critisize them, you'll be a mile away and have their shoes.

I'm very sorry but due to new work commitments I'm not going to be in the country this weekend now.
