Good to hear you're coming Pete. Are we able to trouble you for the use of your arena again ?
I made a start on the raceway circuit today, pictured with Bulletproof for comparison. The track is 6" all the way around so robots WILL clash at some point on the way around.
It made a lot of dust, and I took precautions:
Luke, I am your father

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *jumps into large hole*
I've signed up, confirmed I can definitely get there now. Just need to make sure Jigsaw has a working flipper mechanism, and get hold of some teal tape for the team colours

Hi there my son is 9 and obsessed with robot wars ,he is autistic.he wants to compete with his ant weights but we need the rules and at present he only has 3 ant weights......could he come and watch if not enough robots to compete?it would be him and me or dad.he would like to get involved but doesn't know how!thanks.
Pugster is 9 years old and is autistic,he can be blunt and sometimes seems rude, but he's just to the point!!!please try to be clear when talking to him.his obsession is robot wars and pugs!!thanks guys(pugsters mum!!)

welcome to the forums
the main rules are the 150g weight limit and the 4" cube rule as long as your robots comply to all these and have sharp edge protection (eg a scalpal blade axe) you will be fine, what kind of robots do you have? maybes post pcitrues and details in the "new robots thread"
3 ants is enough (you are only alowed 3 wheeled robots and 1 walker for competitions anyway)
getting involved is easy, you just sign up to one of the events, and turn up on the day ready for battle
this comp is different to others as it has a seies of challanges and games (racing, football) as apose to just combat, whitch i think is full combat (spinners)
