Ok thanks, I will pm him tomorrow and see if its ok, Its really bugged me that I cannot use my own, plus the fact that I owe Pete Waller a receiver and as the controller has not come through as of yet I will not be able to give him it, Ill have to check the old bank balance and just pay him 15 quid me thinks :/

There is no panic you can always send it when it arrives.
Looks like we are getting a few more entries so it should be a good event.

Okilydokily Peter I will send it through when it comes through the post, I am also hoping it will be a jolly good event :D although there seems to be around 8 people signed up just with lots of robots :P

'120 bolts so far'

Surely thats not an ant weight? wouldn't 120 bolts weigh like treble the limit haha

They're plastic bolts, and Andy is totally insane :P most of those are to hold his custom air tanks together.

The air tanks are custom made from a 3d printed shell and folded 0.75mm polycarb, lots of bolts and even more epoxy. I fitted the valve last night so when I get home today I will know if it will work or explode.

The HDPE armour is a little pain, mainly because I can't see through it to drill the holes to line up with the chassis. I should be ready but if the tanks fail I will have to rethink what weapon it will have. But I am looking forward to the event, haven't competed in months.

Anticide will be servo weaponised tomorrow, the air tanks didn't quite explode but are as good at holding air as swiss cheese. See you tomorrow, gets driving hat on.

Damn shame :( I wanted to see one of these rather intricate contraptions, maybe next time :(
