Shame indeed. We couldn't come anyway due to James's exams, and I was going to the US tomorrow...

"Volcanoes don't happen here in Europe... do they ? " (actual question from a kid) :-? Well no, just a hiccup of Mother Nature reminding us of how truly Masters of the World we are.
A shame really, since Mario and I wanted to see ya'all again, and I wanted to photograph your robots. (Although we're coming later to the event due to ... *drum roll*... bridesdress shopping...)

I said it to mario but I'll say it here as well, congratulations to you both, about time you two got married, you've been together for about 10 years or around that ?

Do you have a date ?

Well, apart from the fact that Iceland is in Europe, there are also active volcanoes in southern Europe (Vesuvius in Italy, Etna in Sicily, and probably some more).

Congratulations Babeth and Mario!

Hope the AWS goes well, shouldn't take too long I guess! :(
Is Simon our only hope of keeping the trophy in the UK?

Unfortunately he is, and considering he has quite a high likelyhood of fighting DBA and the Kajuscha's, I'm not optimistic :)

...I think geography teaching in schools might be in need of some work if children are asking that :P

It's a massive shame about this though, nobody could have predicted it but it's basically decimated the competitors list :( best of luck to everyone there though, hope you all have a great time regardless and some good robot fighting takes place.

Oh, and congratulations to Mario and Babeth while I'm here :)
