As a few people have already confirmed our fears that they will be giving the RR event priority over the AWS, I vote for not having them on the same weekend. We want this to be huge and special, and we don't want anything detracting from that if we can help it.

As for the dates and locations, I have no preference. Richmond is slightly closer to me, but Brighton has sausage sarnies :P. So it's a win-win.

As you say Gary the 31st is a bit close to the RRC event so little time for repairs so the 7th or 14th would be better. As to venue I am happy with either.

I vote for it being hosted in Richmond, as Brighton is too far for me. Sorry if I've already said that :P

I vote for the 14th, simple reason being that having a roboteering weekend for our european cousins is more of an incentive to fly over. Leo has said he may well be able to make that weekend

All three dates are good for us at the moment.

Without wishing to complicate matters further, I could book the usual RRC venue for this AWS, if other were willing to host it, perhaps as a team?

As I say, I'm not trying to compete with anyone else wanting to run an AWS, just if there's a shortage of venues...

having checked (but not booked...yet :) ) the dates with my venue it seems as though all of them are fine for me AND the venue :)

seeing as this is a special occasion perhaps we should work as a team ( me, simon and gary/james ) but seeing as jack cant make Brighton and all the dates are okay for my venue perhaps we should host it in richmond? or reading?

@ muchalucha: there is a train station about a 5 Minuit walk from my venue, perhaps you could get the train if your dad says no?

I'm happy with Richmond, Brighton's a tad far for me to travel I'm afraid...although the lure of sausages might persuade me :P
