Sorry, we won't be able to make it now- just realised the Roaming Robots Barnsley is that weekend.

Slightly off-topic but does anyone know if you can purchase tickets at the door? I have been on the website but it lacks information.

Regards,

Does that mean they've put us next to the RC cars?! That's going to be fun! Guess I'd better not bring my 27Mhz set then!

Sam, you can buy tickets on the door. I think it's what most people do :)

This year we have been moved to the (almost impossible to find?) Beta Hall, alongside the noisy & smelly RC cars. It promises all sorts of frequency control fun!

I will put on my most diplomatic hat and try to negotiate some frequencies with them. Fortunately more and more of us are on 2.4GHz, so at least we will be able to run some robots.

If it doesn't work out I will complain loudly to get us moved for next year!

Oh well, new organiser, new stand layouts, we'll just have to see how it goes. Importantly, access to the exhibitor's lounge is easier :)

PeteC, are you OK to set up Thursday evening?

I just hope there is a lift for R2.

Looks like the car track has been extended to the back wall where the 1/14 scale trucks were last time.

I am to be there for 4pm on Thu so can help setup if needed.

Have 1 demo bot ready, hope to get another built in time.
