Jack

I assume the date is 12 September as the date format you used is abit confusing for old fella like me!

You are right about the date Simon. Itś the format the events database uses and not Jackś choice!

Actually itś very logical to use yyyy-mm-dd as then dates automatically sort into chronological order, because the parts are in order of significance. When you get used to it itś quite nice, certainly better than the American mm-dd-yyyy format!

I can see the use now and as you say, it's better than the American format which is creeping into everyday use. Also pronoucing schedule as if it's spelt with a "K" is even more annoying.

Anyway enough of this, the whole family is coming to the event although I fear our bot will be rubbish compared the other machines.

Sadly we can't come to this one. It's Nathan's robot wars birthday party.

well, we seem to have a lot of newcomers and new-ish people, shame that simon w cant come and (from what iv heard) dave w. and jack e is 50/50....anywho we'll try to make it the best we can :)

anyways im having some difficulty with the sign ups, i cant access them  so i hate to be a pain but can one of the moderators steer me in the right direction? :P

and is it just me or are the "old boys" ( oliver, marco, dave26 etc etc) seem to be coming to events less and less...would love to see them again :)
