right a few things to say...

the above link IS THE CONFIRMED VENUE! NO MORE MIX UPS!

andre and co: you need to sign up befor wendsday, i need to get the charts and stuff done by then!

yeah so the sign ups remain open until wendsday or until we get a yes or no answer from andre and co.

awards will be given for

merit award
best driver
best engineered
best newcomer
best looking
most destructive
most destroyed
most old school robot
1st/2nd/3rd spinner combat
1st/2nd/3rd non-spinner combat
1st/2nd/3rd obstical course
1st/2nd/3rd death ball
1st tag team
1st mega show-down

yes there is a house robot...

sir crush-a-lot has 2 standard servos with kan opener style claws screwed onto them, 4mm polycarb armor and 3 rolls of gafa!

and...

a non-spinner arena that is pretty much a blend of robot wars and battlebotz!

prepare to die people, there are NO drop off's!

if i go a bit quiet for a few days that is because i am going to kent on a team building trip...but i'll be back befor saturday!

jack

Aww, I really wish I could come, but it's a 5 hour journey from here in little 'ole Walsall  Sounds like an arena with no drop offs will favour spinners :P If I was there I'd attack the house bot

Thanks to all of the Team Orr crew for organising a great day - especially appreciated after we missed the AWS.

Congratualtions to all the winners - there were plenty of them with all the events and the other awards. I was pleased to win "Best Engineered" for the new RONNY, and perhaps unsurprisingly Ouchie won "Best Looking Robot". James got "Most Damaged" for Antlifter, so we all came home with a certificate!

The obstacle course proved interesting as always - congratulations to the drivers who put in truly fast times.

The 3-a-side football (with obstacles!) was hard work for me trying to drive one of Pete's robots, but good fun nonetheless.

Thanks again to Team Orr, looking forward to next year (and the bacon sarnies! )
