Antlifter has changed into "Ant Built In A Panic On Friday Evening Because The SD200 In Antlifter Died". Hopefully James will come up with a shorter name tomorrow morning. :)

Meanwhile everything else is repaired and seems ready to go...

Well done to Pete for winning everything with Defiant

AWS - Defiant
Non Spinner - Defiant
Tag team - Defiant and Ant be bad (not sure of the name)

Pete also on the fleas with Fleabite

But Pete failed to win best driver and best Badger

:)

Was nice to see everyone, very impressed with the standard of new robots I did like Meat 3, glad to pick up 2nd in the Tag team with it

(also Badgerbot won the flea weights but was over weight so we agreed that it wouldnt actually win, and I drove Defiant in the final beating Pete and Variant twice in the final so I actually am the unofficial Flea and Antweight Champion :D only joking )

Thanks to Simon and Oliver too, And Gary for looking after the draw and kept it running smoothly I know Gary wasnt the only one but I noticed Gary stood there almost all day keepin things ticking

If Defiant won everything, I should have entered. Would be a easy win
Nah, just kidding. Congratulation Pete for the erm... 7th time? :P

I think the reasons Defiant did better than usual were.
1 I had stripped it all down and secured the motors much better they used to move a lot.
2 Fitted new tracks and sticky rubber.
3 Adjusted the scoop height and sanded to a sharper edge so it got under other robots better.
4 Practiced some driving against my minisumo.
5 Had the event on a day when non of our continental friends could make it.

Thanks to Oliver and Simon for organising the event, and Congrats to Pete for yet another AWS title.

Something else you can take from that event: You had me physically shaking before my fight with Mutant :P

I'm a little disapointed with my driving still, but at least my robots stood up to the punishment

Thanks to Gary and Simon for organising it and Oliver for bringing cake...lol, only joking.
Congrats to Pete W again for first and second place. I'm now going to work on ants that mean that next time out it wont be a Simon/Oliver/Pete W final 4, which it always is. lol.
Thanks to Dave for letting me stay and to Craig for his compliments.
Roll on the next one.

Oh yeah, my fave quote from this event came from a convo with Pete W, when he told me "I dont really like inflicting damage". lol.
