I would if I had a circular saw. My jigsaw is appalling, so I need a proper saw.

I have never had much success cutting sheets of Polycarb so for my last arena I bought them already cut.
On ebay you can get 5mm sheets cut to 1220mm x 400mm, 500mm or 600mm depending on the hight of cover you want.
If you want say a 500mm high cover you buy 4 sheets 1220x500 for the sides and 2 sheets of 1220x600 to form the top.

Well the arena isn't completed yet, so I'd say it's unlikely

£20 for a 550W Performance Power brand jigsaw out of B&Q (and a few quid for a decent wood-cutting blade). Had mine close to three years now and it's still going strong. I imagine it's pretty thin (3mm?) polycarb? If so, I've been cutting 5mm poly recently and it goes through like a dream (on the 3rd speed setting). Also comes with a line-cutting guide that you can bolt to the baseplate of the jigsaw to guide it along an edge and make a straight cut.

Its actually 10mm, its what I got for free, because new polycarb is so expensive. I think I would be ok if my blade was actually straight, but I don't have any replacements, and also, the size guide you have is probably fine but I am cutting sheets 500 x 1100, I doubt it was stretch that far. Plus these sheets are uneven because they came from old bustops (thanks Clive's mate). If I had the money I would just buy new sheets :P
