Well I have finally got round to building my GCSE design technology robot
Name: Tidal Wave 2
Weight: hopefully below 13.6kg
Size: 50cmx 50cmx 19cm
Weapon: 16bar CO2 flipper (will be full pressure when I get the parts)
Materials- 6mm/8mm & 10mm HDPE with 3mm titanium flipper blade
Drive- 2x 50:1 MFA motors
Batteries: 2x 12v Ni-Mh packs
Speedos- Electronize 15Amp
Notes- First robot that I have built without any help

Just seen the photos and a nice looking chassie Will
I am a becoming a big fan of HDPE. Easy to use, cheap and strong. Planning to build the heavy out of it.
Il sign up once I check my diary. Will be a lil strapped for cash and will have to carry a tool box and a robot but hey Im a big lad.
Ooh if Kenny is going I could hitch a lift. Need to also look for someone to share a room.

Thanks for all of the nice comments.
This is the first time that I have used HDPE and I am very impressed, it was easy to cut and work with and so far seems more than strong enough for the chassis.
I will be fitting the drive and plumbing the flipper tomorrow- I will try to get some videos online when I test it
