So far unable to test the spinner as I mentioned I manged to break a wire off the motor but I have at least made the hub and blade.
The all up weight is 93 grams so I have a little left for a rear support for the inverted walk and some kind of front protrusion so it cant fall on its face.

You said you had a little left but I thought it was a 75g flea which makes it overweight

+50% for being a walker so he can weigh up to 112.5 grams.

Yeah, those motor wires are infuriatingly fragile; I've got rather practiced at resoldering tiny wires, and getting in the habit of coating them with hotmelt glue before they get the chance to break... Doesn't always stop it though.

Unfortunately the wire that broke was at the bottom of the winding so I couldn't get the end to solder it.
Anyway the new motor should arrive tomorrow.
Finally I have come up with a way to stop the robot falling on its face when going from fast (well relatively) forward to fast back.
Two piano wire tines which should also help get under the opposition.

What with the Soapbox Derby and the arena I have only managed to repair most of the damage done in Wales but I have this morning upgraded Deflea to three cells in an effort to make it a bit quicker and more powerful.

I have finally started to try and get fleabites weapon to keep running after the first hit.
I tried changing the brushless controller and ended up with the motor failing which may have been part of the problem.
To try and improve things I need to save weight so have redesigned the chassis to use the smaller gear motors used in my latest lemming.
This means I can use a slightly heavier motor for the weapon as the previous ones don't seem to be available locally.
