Lithium Polymer batteries

Post by Simon Windisch »

Hi there,

I promised Peter I'd let him know where I get my LiPos, so the link is here
?11.90 for an 8.3g 130mAh Ultra High Discharge Lithium Polymer 2 Cell Pack (2S1P). Anyone else got a favourite LiPo supplier?

I just got some LiPos from Go Brushless. They do electric flight stuff, but they sell the HiModel 7.4V 300mAh (20C discharge) packs for ?5.99 ea. P&P is very reasonable and delivery was very quick - about 2 days.

Just noticed I must have bought the last of the LiPos - they're out of stock now! They also do some brushless motors and some very tiny servos.

Not quite lithium batteries but I was looking at chargers and thought that the logo on these ones was particularly inappropriate unless they know something that we don't.

Perhaps it means, "This is what you can look forward to if you buy this cheap charger" :-?

I can't find the actual discussion but I think it was Rhys mentioned the Hobby King 138 mah batteries were good at only 7.2 gms and <£2 but they were out of stock.
Just had an email to say they are available again so here is the link if you are interested.
