polycarb

Post by kickboxer »

ok so basically at the allotment i found 2 sheets of polycarb (clear).
1 a square wich is around a meter by a meter if not more.
2 a rectangle meter by 2 meter (around that).
basically i dont need that much polycarb so if anyone is going to the aws in pontie i could bring it around.
sheet 1 £5
sheet 2 £10

Make sure its the industrial grade stuff though, the interior stuff that you get at Homebase and the like tends to crack really easily in combat.

Yes, however there is also a interior grade of polycarb that i believe either team storm or team mute used on their robot (i think it was storm 1 but cant be sure, i read it online ages ago) and the polycarb they were using shattered in their first fight and they found out it was because it was the interior spec stuff

I have some diabond or something it's basically
0.3mm aluminium
2.4mm polycarb
0.3mm aluminium

All in one sheet (Y)
Would this be suitable for say a spinner? It seems pretty tough and would take a saw of somekind to cut
