Titan IR Tank kit

Post by earthwormjim »

I bought one of these the other day off ebay, and it arrived this morning...

I thought it looked interesting, and liked the wheel configuration. The tank body is 4.5" x 5.5",but without the body, and with different wheels,I am hoping it might make an interesting ant? Not sure whether to use the electronics from the kit,or put in my own?
Probably the latter.

Good fun for a tenner though! :)

LOL.
I have just built the basic chassis with the gears and motors in place,it weight 118g.
I am not sure it is worth the effort,as the gear meshing looks pretty weak.
Maybe I will keep it as a crash test dummy bot for Bruce and Boreworm!!
