Well I got the Makerbot for christmas.

I've spent about 10 hours on it so far, and it's about halfway done.

Looks like we shall be seeing some new designs from you this year. That looks really cool (did I say cool) and I can't wait to see the results.

oooh, I was looking at getting one but wasn't sure. Let me know how it turns out.

Do you know if you got hit with any customs charges? I seem to get hit all the time now.

Now I know what I should have asked for christmas. Do you know weither it takes a specific type of software (Rhino 3D, Pro engineer etc.)?

I think it takes STL files (then you convert those into something else), so anything you use that can produce those should be fine. I'll let you know more when it's fully built.
