Ah cheers Will, I will take that grudge match!

1998 aye!? I guess we are using wheel chair motors (though slightly huge ones) but we are constructed very solidly compared to robots back then. Our main goal is to build this as solid as possible and just keep it with little maintenance.

From the last online msn meeting we did decide the name and also decided that we will scrap the stinger, saint hammer weapon for now.
We are going for prongs/ ramp weapon for our first event. Ideally I would like some sort of weapon, no matter how rubbish it will be. I remember kenny showing me an eleectric crusher a while ago, might ask him more about it.

We also have Cabraken's daddy weapon planned for Craigs event. A spinning weapon at the front. Around 3,000 rpm 3.2kw weapon power. We just need to see what weight we have left for disk.

Dave W is coming over this weekend so we get to continue building!

Well, we haven't updated for a while, but the machine is so simple its pretty much getting there. We will definately be active at the Barnsley event on Feb 14th and 15th.
I'll leave Marco to update in more details if he gets the time.

Yeah as Dave said, busy, v busy.
Sorry its probably gona be one of those......we started cutting the first peice of wood and then the next entry its finished!

We have started constructing the chassis. At the moment current issues is the amount of grinder disks I am going though. I barely did any metal work and I went though 3 disks instantly. The only place where I can get disks locally is wicks and they charge 5 quid for 3! So over the weekend I will pop into town and grab some more in bulk from a cheaper supplier. If they are rubbish then I have to put up with wicks and buy the dam disks.

Also realized that my next event is approaching. Robots live 7th of Feb is a few weeks away and Trojan needs a bit of work. New front scoop.
