Re: Peter Waller Nano Adventures
Have you tried hitting anything with it yet? My limited experience with nano horizontal spinners is that they go crazy as soon as they hit anything :L

Re: Peter Waller Nano Adventures
Not yet I have to mold some tyres first and add a receiver/controller but the lack of weight is going to be a problem.

You say problem, I say entertainment.

Re: Peter Waller Nano Adventures
All finished bar sharpening the blade and only just over weight.
It is not such a handfull with the spinner going as I had feared but it can get out of control even hitting 3.6 gm chassis.

Re: Peter Waller Nano Adventures
It wasn't quite as finished as I first thought I hadn't tested it inverted.
The ty-wrap on the battery which I added as an after thought stopped both wheels touching the ground at the same time so I double sided taped the batteries in.
The shaft on the brushless motor wasn't quite long enough to stop the blade touching the deck so I added a blob of epoxy to it.
Finally I shaped the end of the blades it is now 0.2 gms under weight.

Couldn't come up with anything mind blowingly original so they are:
Spinner : ONE BILLIONTH U.S. STYLE
Lifter: TEN TO THE MINUS NINE
