Cheers Dave

Yeah, battle box is a bit naf, but I was outta spare polycarb and had about half an hour to come up with something. The arena itself is perfectly fine though; certainly good enough for non spinner fights. I'm sure we'll at least make use of it here in Reading :)

I think the arena is great.
The base would fit in the bottom of the box then all your robots and bits on top and your ready to rumble.

Sorry but my plans just did not work. It was overweight, too big and just rubbish. It couldn't push anything, the rubber fell off and by the end of it, both of the tiny motor wires had snapped on each motor. As the motor turned on, a shock appeared to go through to the wires, pulling them for about a quarter of a second. This meant they all snapped. I tried to solder them back on and had partial success until the boards started smoking like crazy. I am hoping to get proper parts at Christmas (the reccomended gear + (finally) a Lipo) but will have to wait until then, which is a bit of a disappointment. Oh well... Hope to join in with you in the new year!

That's a shame :S hopefully I can start supplying pre-hacked servos for drive soon, which would make it much easier for people to get involved :)

Alex and I had the first trial Nanoweight fight in my arena last night with Lift-a-little and MiniDozer... Good god these things are hilarious to fight :P

Hey hey, MiniDozer pushed one of Alex's ants out the arena during a fight... admittedly he wasn't really paying attention at the time, but I take it as a win! :P

But yes, antweights do rather have the upperhand normally :L

I wasn't scoffing Rory, I genuinely think taking on 6 at once could be quite hard! Unless you're Kwijebo...

That sounds like fun :) could we cover the nanos with Velcro and some on the arena roof to see if they stick?

Watched the video, it's like ants 10 years ago...
