Just had the first weigh in for the beetle to check that it would still be in weight after getting my hands on the disc.

Came in at 984g minus the armour, rx and belt with the 6mm disc so will be around 1.2kg with the 10mm disc in place. I plan to run with the 6mm one to start off with as this will make the spin up easier.

I plan to start putting it together this weekend and will hopefully pick up a couple of belts while I'm home so that I can test it :)

Finished the beetle today. Now has 1.5mm steel for armour but since it only weighs 1.1kg I can always add more if I need to.
