Eggbeater

Post by haz »

Just letting people know what beetleweights are out there atm :)
As many of you know i'm building a bigger version of my antweight...which should be interesting.
going to be using 15mm nylon for the frame and either a 3 cell or 4 cell lipo for power. The motor for the beater is a 910watt turnigy outrunner which should be man enough for the job of spinning my 500g eggbeater. Its 75mm by 180mm and is 17mm thick. however it is me building/driving the thing so don't be too scared :P

15mm Nylon?! That's the same thickness I use on Drumroll II. You sure you gonna be alright for weight, as that amount of Nylon will be a fair chunk of it.

True that, in which case, good luck :)
I doubt I've got much in the way of spare stuff kicking about, but post/PM the sizes you're after and I'll take a look.

Looks great mate, but if that's in weight I'll eat my cat

EDIT: *hat. Although the sentiment still applies

The wonderful site of http://www.beltingonline.com/
Was £32 delivered. That's for two pulleys each with custom bores and grubscrews and three belts.
