I went to Miniatur Wunderland in 2009 I think, it is amazing. Each of the HO gauge cars have their own computer/battery/steering and drive around the various towns. Every so often it changes from day to night and vice-versa and all the model lights come on.

Then you can see the control room and all the servers, it's manic as they keep track of where all the locomotives and cars are.

When I went they had the basic layout for the airport and had just started building it.

I Actually have an interest in model railways as well as robots.
