Hi all
Just starting out and need to get a transmitter.
With all the dsm2 vs dsmx can you recommend any specific transmitters to get off eBay? I'm not wanting to break the bank but also need a useable controller.. Not really sure where to start as a beginner!
Any help appreciated!

Re: Transmitters
I would recommend the Devo 7e, it's good for dsm2 and dsmx, and has a memory for up to 30 robots. You will need to upload the 3rd party deviation firmware to get it to work, but that's simple and there are plenty of guides online. They can be found for about £40.

Re: Transmitters
I wrote my own Devo guide a few days back but haven't properly linked it up in my site and stuff: https://nutsandbots.co.uk/devo7e/

Re: Transmitters
On the subject of Devo 7es's i've been looking to get hold of one. Cheapest price seems to be on eBay for around £40 sent from Hong Kong. Has anyone bought one this way before and if so did you get stung for Customs charges on delivery? Any uk suppliers around this price point instead?
