British Bulldog ?

Post by limpet »

Has the game of British Bulldog been attempted with robots?
I`ve been thinking over the last few days how it could be done and I believe I have a workable game plan. I am planning on trialing it at Ant Freeze.

It could definitely be done and would be very fun! I have always wondered why we have always done football rather than British Bulldog as the sheer aggression required is just ideal for antweight robots! :-)

Would love to take part in that at Ant Freeze!

what's your game plan Jhon? i don't know about british bulldog but i just like seeing these mini games popping up at events. if the game requires aggression then thunder strike would be more than willing to provide some. :)

Not sure its been played since robot wars series one. Would be fun but would need to be well thought out for ants. With their speed and small arenas it could all be over in seconds!

Would the arena be the right size or would we need a bigger one and also how many robots should we use per battle 6,8,10,15,more??!

I would say that with the current arena size, 6 robots would be an ideal number, and to make it so that the game doesn't end too quickly, the bulldog has to push the other robots out of the arena rather than just touch them.
