Not sure yet there are extra bits in it but I am trying to find some better pricing on them. Worst case is ?40 but trying to reduce that a bit.

It appears that GiantCod can no longer supply the R6EH receiver and are now supplying the R7EH. Because the construction is very different it will not fit my GC controller so unless you are able to supply an R6EH receiver I can no longer produce my CG controller for anyone.

No they are DSM2 compatible which will work with the later Spektrums but not usable with the GiantCod T4EU transmitter.

I can now offer the unit to go with the new 4 Channel DSM2 compatible receiver from HobbyKing http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... duct=11972
This has all the flying leads from the controller board are on a 7way crimped JST socket that plugs into a board mounted plug.
The two power leads are fitted with the red type JST that plugs into the socket which seems to be standard on Lithium packs these days.
This board has 2 motor drive chips increasing the drive from 1.2A to 2.4A per motor. That is still only 2 HP motors at 8.4v but should withstand stalling without relying on the thermal shutdown which doesn't seem to work sometimes.
The receiver is unmodified and plugs into the controller board so there is no need to send it to me for modification.
The controller board also has a bind switch to allow rebinding without removing the receiver.
Controller with receiver removed (6.9gms without Rec 9.4gms with)

Controller with receiver fitted and 150mm flying leads plugged in. (13.6 gms)

As above with servo plugged in.

Unfortunately with the extra components these work out at ?38 + ?2 p&p with you providing your own receiver.
These controllers I build for people are to try and help them get their robot within the size and weight limits and I am not looking to go into mass production so you need to contact me first to ensure I can make what you want without spending all my robot time on them.

Good to hear pete :) First customer right here :)

I do have one question: on that white crimp plug, there seem to be too many wires. 2 for the battery, 2 for each motor and one seemingly spare one. Either I'm seeing things or missing something obvious :P
