The mixing really slows the motors down, from the top middle to the top side. I have been looking at the functionality of the tx and there are a few functions avaliable.
Exponential
Dual Rate
Travel Adjust
Sub Trim
The exponential is used to increase the sensitivity arround the neutral point.
The dual rate adjusts the sensitivity but i am not too sure how it works..
The travel adjust changes the end points however it is not very clear how to use it.. Could this be used to speed up the motors when driving forward?
Sub trim changes the centre position of the servo.
I think Pete W used the dual rate to reduce the speed of variant, is it possible to increase the motor output when driving forward using the travel adjust?
EDIT: Admin please could you remove this post, i found the following solution from the dx5e post
I am not sure that the DX5e is the same as the DX6i but on the 6 you have to set two mixers as follows. Mix the Aile(left/right) with the elev(forw/back) and then the Elev with the Aile see below for menu options.
MIX1
ELEV + AILE ACT
RATE L -100% R -100%
SW ON TRIM ACT
MIX2
AILE + ELEV ACT
RATE D +100% U +100%
SW ON TRIM ACT
