Re: Thread for silly questions about rules!
I'm pretty sure that the rule regarding this matter for heavies and feathers stands as this:
You can replace as many components of your robot as you like, only the bare chassis must remain the same throughout a competition. The chassis counts as the largest single part of the robot. This may be repaired, but not replaced.
Maybe this rule could be used for antweights as well.

I think that's a good idea and a good way to word it. Would anyone have any logical objections to adding this rule? Or any committee members got any comments?

There may be some complications for robots that have weapons (usually full body spinners) that would be bigger or heavier than the rest of the robot, but apart from that I see no issues

Re: Thread for silly questions about rules!
Well, under that rule, a full body spinner would be allowed to come with more than one "disc", even if it is the entire shell. I don't really see how this is differen't from someone having interchangable discs on a non-FBS. The chassis underneath would still have to stay the same. I suppose it depends on the definition of the word "chassis". The way I build, for example, it could be argued that I don't have a chassis, or that the whole robot is.

Dave, in your case, you'd probably be limited to 1m of duct tape

And yet, my duct taped machine not only stood up to Will's spinner without a scratch on it, but actually damaged it in return!

If I don't damage it next time then I will be forced to have a go with Inertia XL which might just do it

Lol, I really need to find the featherweight equivalent of duct tape. And you're very quick to reply Will! Like you have radar for when I'm talking about beating you. lol
