DasMikro and Flipping Servo

Post by MrEnDo »

Hi All,

I have built a basic robot on cardboard ahead of doing proper... Question about servos

How do I wire in the servo does it need dedicated power then the signal wire off to the receiver.

Cheers

Hi.
Yes, that's pretty much it if you're running off a DasMikro for drive. Signal wire to the reciever (usually in the throttle slot, though some use rudder) then the power wires into the battery circuit.

Yes sir, I just mean because other speed controllers with a built in reciever have a place to plug in a servo but the DasMikro does not so you have to wire it in in the way you suggested :D

Legend, yep got it connected and working fine...

Now to decided to stick to servo or use a motor instead. As the servo doesn't seem that powerful.
