What are thr rules about antweight armour?

There are no particular rules regarding armour, you can use whatever you like, the most common choice is polycarbonate, which provides a good balance between protection and weight. A link to the rules are at the top of this forum.

I thought I read somewhere when I started out that metal armour couldn't be thicker than 1mm, but that doesn't appear in the current rules as far as I can tell! I'm guessing that might be a good guideline though?

I think it used to be a rule but with more and more spinner power it's silly to limit armour, my last bot had 2mm of titanium on the front! Go as thick as your design will allow within the weigh limit :lol:
