New polycarb arrived 1.5mm this time already started work on Bunny-Ears.

Electronic wise I need to assess my options for new ESCs
  • Servo boards
    Nano-Two
    DasMikro 2s6a
Servo boards need modifying with a resister.

Nano-Two, plug and play but needs a DSM2 compatible transmitter which is getting harder to find.

DasMikro 2s6a, being a pain to try and buy and might be a pain with the wiring.

Also the Das Mikro has no centre braking which is a big need for combat robots. It can be *kinda* fixed with a resistor though.

Oh yeah thats another issue. I would say I would be aiming towards the Nano-Two just because it has been tried and tested and is more reliable then servo boards which I'm fed up with having to re-zero them. :x

But because it still only uses DMS2 no pin RXs (which I'm guessing is the only reason it's not DMSX compatible) I still can't use the Nano-Two. :(

What TX do you have, a lot of DSMX ones can be used with DSM2?

By the sounds of it I need to reinstate the N2LVs until I can find a proper solution for DSMX compatibility. (https://docs.google.com/document/d/19oF ... sp=sharing)

They just plug into a regular RX using servo leads so can be used with both DSM2 and DSMX receivers.

If you'd like a N2LV I still have the parts to do one for you.

Well just my luck I fire up the balanced charger and the battery has a "Invalid cell"

Guess I'm going to need to buy a new one.

EDIT looks like I was able to recover the lipo but I'm still buying spares to be safe.
