I personally like the US heavyweight robot ranking system. So I made an antweight one.
It works via 3 rules:
#1: It uses the last 5 events on Antlog.(Which at the moment means just AWS 48 and 49.)
#2: It only includes robots which have come top 8 in one of the said last five tournaments. (As I am not going through 100+ bots records.)
#3: It operates via Win:Loss Ratio, with number of matches done as a tie break. After that, best result in the last 5 events is the next tie break. Then second best result, third and so forth. (Yes that happened.)
As of AWS 49, the list stands at:
#1: I Can't Believe It's Not Stanley
#2: Why Wait
#3: A Little Bit Of Fail
#4: Inversion 4
#5: Ritz
#6: Ant2D3
#7: Anticide
#8: Wedge Wedge Wedge
#9: Void
#10: Bully Dozer
#11: Hogi
#12: Test Robot Please Ignore
#13: Baby Hell
#14: 23
#15: Bad Idea
#16: Nom Nom Nom
Feel free to leave any thoughts on how to improve it.

Re: Antweight Ranking
The problem with ranking systems like this with Antweights is that robots often change beyond all recognition but keep the same name. Ranking over 5 AWS's (nearly 2 years) makes this quite likely.
However, if enough people want it I could look at adding the feature to AntLog, with at least one caveat:
AntLog considers a robot to belong to one particular team. The same robot entered by two different teams at two different events is treated as two different robots. Hence Lemmings is unlikely to be ranked properly as it gets randomly assigned to someone's team on the day.

Re: Antweight Ranking
How is Bad Idea ranked higher than Bullydozer? They both went out in two straight fights at AWS 48, and at AWS 49 Bully came 3rd and Bad Idea came 8th..

Re: Antweight Ranking
Sry if im stealing your thread here when I put this in but I thought it would be pointless to start a new one:
so I tried out of curiosity to make one more tennis style and see the difference, for those who don't now tennis takes all the tournament results in that year and you get points based on how far you got, this means to keep ranks you have to do as well at the competition the year after, just for the same two tournements with a scorecard of:
1st = 50
2nd=30
3rd=20
4th=10
5th=8
7th=7
9th=5
13th=3
17th=1
my seeding were:
1 A little bit of fail (80)
1 I Can't Believe It's not Stanley (80)
3 Anticide (30)
4 Bully Dozer (20)
5 Hogi (15)

I've just updated this to AWS 50.
