a bit of a naggy question

Post by botomatic1000 »

im looking to maybe build an antweight wedge similar to the original model of battlebots competitor the crusher (heres a photo) http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/bat ... 1216200858 . im looking what to get and possibly a tutorial on how to build one under 100 quid. my biggest worries are price complications the rc guff motor mounts and what to buy. A list of parts would be handy but I feel its naggy.
thanks for any responses and contributions  . p.s im gonna call it a weird name pepsi man

It's not that hard, I'm 14 and inept and I've managed in less than £100 if you go via Rory (£42)you can get all electronics done and all you have to do is buy the battery(£5)and the transmitter(£15-30) for a pusher without a flip and if you want a flipper you will have to solder a servo(£5). Making the body is a simple as glue and plastic and screws, I think most people are fine with 2mm which can be cut fairly easily.

If you already have a transmitter and receiver you can certainly build an antweight for well under £100.

As Alex has said in the other thread, Rory's kit does most of the complicated wiring for you (assuming your transmitter is compatible with the receivers in the kit).

It's not a DSM2 compatible transmitter.
