You could buy one of rorys without the receiver and plug it into yours.

Only the full kit with receiver does (as the receiver is DSM2).

One small thing: can you see it has a flat back? Could you perhaps make it a bit more rounded so the robot can roll off of it? The issue with a flat back is that when you try to self right, especially with a rear hinged flipper, it will certainly get stuck on it's back very easily indeed and it will just be stranded in the middle of the arena with no mobility whatsoever. If you add a curved section which would not permit the robot to rest there, that would cure this issue and make the self righting a great deal quicker! :D

Love that flipper shape though! Really nice. :)

Construction phase is a go! :)
Weapon servo, battery, and receiver/transmitter all came today.
weighed it all up, battery+receiver+servo comes to 40g, plus the 30g from the NanoTwo kit, and motor mounts means total electronic parts should be about 75-80 grams . I should have enough spare. :D
Sidenote: Holiday plans mean i can't go to AWS 49, but all set to go AWS 50, may even have 2 bots done by then. at-least i won't be rushed! :D
