As the wiring is so troublesome we took apart the transmitters just to see and one of them was accessible so we have modded it and if we encounter future problems we can still put it back to how it was but thanks for the offer of help, will update again when it starts spinning :)

Glad to hear it :) just make sure that if you turn the transmitter off while the bot is on that the spinner doesn't spin up. (If it does then turn the transmitter back on rather than trying to switch the bot off)

Yup it's all been tested and is safe, however I need 1 last favour, I know people usually bring acetate but could someone bring spare for my other 2 robots, and may I ask if the name 'Buffy' or 'the grim sweeper' has been taken

I don't think either of those names have been used, but TBH it doesn't really matter too much. Certainly Antlog can cope with 2 robots with the same name even if we can't! :D
Since names may well get re-used or passed around as time goes on Antlog only requires that the combination of robot name and team are unique, so *every* team could have a robot called "My robot" and it wouldn't break Antlog! (Although it might break the event organisers!)
This does allow someone to send a robot to an AWS in the care of another team, without that team having to enter as two different teams and running the risk of getting drawn against themselves (!)

While baby metal and Buffy will only undergo minor changes,ExuberANT is in an unfortunate state of limbo after being ripped to pieces by yours truly after the AWS, only to find the source of the problem, green fluff in the gear boxes and a really loose motor wire, so for my next very bold project may I ask if 1mm polycarbonate could get away with being used as the main material in ants/ fleas, bearing in mind it will either have a large weapon on the front or a large steel wedge so no blades will directly hit it

You should be alright with 1mm polycarbonate; I've had issues with it stress cracking when cold folded before so you may want some heat if you're planning on using the same chassis for a while, but it's generally quite robust. You might want something stiffer to mount any big weapons to though!

I've worked out minus the servo I can easily make a new exuberant really light and then realised I can use these:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-SETS-Micro ... 1256976731

to make modular weapons as I have enough weight for basically any weapon and then I realised if I removed all weapons and just had 1mm polycarb it would fit in as a flea so I intend to make a robot which can enter the AWS and FWS so extra fights for the little boy who cant afford to buy a fourth esc package XD, in theory this should work great and i've worked out I should have the weight and space to have a 4inch 3mm titanium bar spinner attachment :) , lets just say if everything works then eventually you won't be seeing much of the steel wedge plan :)
