Agreed- I did go too far with my conclusion.

With 100% infill the ABS parts can be quite strong and I'm sure I'll use it again in the future. But when you have an impact, most metal bends, ABS plastic shatters. My next robot may have 3d printed motor mounts, and maybe even chassis, but the weapon and weapon mount will absolutely be some kind of metal
