After the AWS, if you loan me the transmitter I can put in a flipper button for you, I've modded transmitters for that function before.

UPDATE:
Baby metal:chassis all built but I haven't quite got the scoop made or successfully got it moving as I tested my battery that came today and it works but i can't get it to move which means its either my inability to bind or some electrical fault(I really hope not)
I have also made an extended metal flipper on exuberANT and taken it right to the floor with araldite and sellotape so I'm nearly ready for aws 46

No cost, just my usual token bottle of Coca Cola would be much appreciated :). I will need to cover postage to send it back however, I'll let you know that when I go to post it.

Have you bound the transmitter to the receiver?

Sorry rory missed that.
I tried to bind it but it didn't move so I think my binding abilities are just rubbish I just hope that's what's wrong anyway

if your using a blade transmitter, remember you have to hold the left stick ( weapon stick ) down from when you turn it on until it binds.

When Dan says hold the left stick down he means pushed in not just pulled back.
First you need to power the reciever with the bind link fitted which in most receivers gives you a flashing light.
Then power up the transmitter as above but once it starts to bleep you need to release the stick for the bind process to complete.
Normally both the transmitter and receiver lights flash during the bind process then if it binds correctly both light should be on continuously.

I don't have a bind link and I don't have an led so that would explain,I thought you only needed to add a battery and chassis
