The worst of the seven dirty words :) If you want to use a minimum of engineering you could try making something out of a metal ruler, as those helpfully have the lengths on them already, or ask Will about the discs he made/makes for people.

Also I've generally found for most antweight spinner motors a tiny 6A controller (example) will work, since - in my experience with The Hurting on 2S at least - you have to be deliberately trying to break it to draw more than 8 amps for a few seconds, and one of your other components is probably going to pop before the speedo will.

I'd be interested if you had any bars in the stupidly long end of the spectrum. :D

Don't get me wrong I really like engineering just rather less comfortable scratch making something very dangerous like my own blade
Haz would love to see your bars! how much do they weigh?

Thanks, the motors just arrived and looking nice but I have a strong feeling haz isn't the only person I'm going to be relying on as I'm guessing ill need a way of attaching the disc to the motor(speaks nicely to Alex and his lovely 3d printer convincing him I'll pay plastic and postage and send him the motor and disc to make it around :p,not that I'm hinting anything or asking a particular service of anyone)
